Del 667
I don’t understand the hate that Wes gets, he’s a very good GK! McGregor is better but if he had the defense in front of him that Wes had the past few seasons, he would have conceded loads as well. He’s already shown that he can step in if needed, celtic last season, and perform. I wouldn’t want to have someone like Firth or McCrorie in that position. Won’t be on a huge salary either and with McGregor only being here for what, 1-2-3 years max, I would keep Wes as back up/competition! Algeran 30
Greegsy, although he is a great stopper, has his shortcomings including his distribution ! He appears also to have a bit of the red mist syndrome which has resulted in red card(s) or near misses ! He is 37 now so I hope that the management team are actively looking at his situation and especially with regard to potential successors - was disappointed to see Kelly go as I thought he could have proved excellent in the long term ! I think we have all become aware of his discipline problems over this past season
