How long do you think it would take? How deep down would it need to go for the additional seats circa 7000 maybe 6 or so rows.

The way we work these days probably 6 months ,if we could tap into the way the ancients built things probably do it in a shift 😂

Thought we couldn't lower the pitch anymore due to under soil heating and the water table.

Lowering the pitch was done years ago , can't be done sight lines on top tiers would not see touchline etc and would end up with 3 rows empty for euro games just like them.

When the corners were done , we all expected fully seated and ended up with screens.

Would like to see an extra tier on the SJ giving an extra 8000 as long as the symmetry remained.

Iconic the way it is but today 50000 is too small , getting left behind, for the stature of Rangers it has to increase.

Heating wouldn’t b a problem ,rip out and start again ,the water table was something I did think could be a problem,

if possible though would bring the stands right close to the pitch making for a right intimidating stadium

Still close to half a million for under soil heating.

Too early to increase capacity imo.

How many of the people on the waiting list would actually buy a ticket when push comes to shove, and keep renewing even through any rough times in the future.

Its all well and good everyone wanting a season ticket to be there when we win the league in almost a decade, but to expand on the basis of that is bad business imo.

Was bitterly disappointed when the corners were filled in. Copeland S.J. & broomloan should have been completely joined up, the space wasted behind the corners  is where any new additional seats should be.  Even doing Copeland corner first leave the other end if costs too high to do both in one go.

I think it will work out too expensive and the payback time too long to make it viable.

Funny enough the guy next to me was talking about this last week and reckoned there was the potential to create 5000 seats by filling in the corners? Doubt it would even add half of that.

So we were discussing  cost of this and the old guy next to him says well have the money when the hmrc pay us back the £30M they owe us!!  Couldnt stop laughing....getting a rebate on something we never paid in the first place 😂😂

Didn't you hear?? Gerrard got an extension and is investing into the club with his rich Scouse pals.

The pitch could remain at it's present level just lower the seats like Old Trafford the pitch is about a metre above the seats.
