bluebell82 243 Posted August 19, 2019 Share Posted August 19, 2019 I think Docherty will prove to be a great player but unfortunately the level of competition for midfield places at the minute means he prob won't get enough game time to prove it and we don't have the luxury of being able to let players have a run of games and develop over time. Although a different player, he had similar stats to Aribo last season in league 1 and had a few championship clubs such as Hull City sniffing round him. Can’t speak for the level of Andy King, I’ve no clue what to expect from him but given he’s taken Doc’s place in the European squad so quickly tells you enough about what the gaffer’s thoughts are.
