The Widow's Son 399
Not quite the image of my first games at Ibrox but fairly close to it. Recall plenty of bunnets and quite a few shirt and ties. No one wore strips in those days and scarves were beginning their era. Often wondered when we'll have a public exhibition fo changing fashions of fitba' fans or spectators as they've also been called. I would presume that a good few of the gentlemen in the picture would have probably worked in the morning in shipyards or factories.

Jakes Pal 5,462
When my Old Man first took me to the fitba I used to be able to run about under the crush barriers on that vast terracing when the crowd was not too big. On busier days I was despatched down to the front with the rest of the Weans where it was thought I would be safer, and be able to actually see the game. Happy days indeed.
