I thought Madden was awful but apart from the parallels between the McGregor tackle and the Jones tackle it wasn't blatant. In the first half they got every 50/50 decision. They seemed to gain an inordinate amount yardage every throw in without him saying anything. Sounds like nothing but it was really noticeable to me and definitely makes a difference. It was more than just that though. A culmination of small things were just niggling at me all game.

I totally agree they were poor today.  I don't blame Defoe he never really got any decent service to be honest

Jack had a terrible game, struggled with the basics, easily worse than Davis today.

wrong team selection for me but to be honest I don’t think it would of done any difference. I hate singling our players but really  starting to take a dislike to Ojo looks completely disinterested.

Thought Davis was mostly good but aribo wanted too much time on the ball and ojo showed his inexperience. Defoe got no service and we had no composure in front of goal.  Goldson needs a rest, as does arfield. So disappointing but the point is now to win against the rest.

Embarrassing performance today

The manager needs to take full blame with an awful team selection. Changing our system was asking for trouble. 

We had zero width to go and hurt them, they pressed up and caught us out

I don't see how anyone can argue with Madden's performance. ( a few iffy decisions ) It's refreshing to see him keep the cards in his pocket and let the players decide. Can't argue with Arfield's yellow or Jones horrific tackle.
