He's done well in nothing games yes youre right. Good point well made

I was asking for clarification. Not sure why he's being singled out. Keep in mind that Gerrard has said he has played through pain in his last 3 games and missed the St Mirren game due to a bruised bone he picked up in the Warsaw 1st leg.

European Qualification matches were not nothing games. He's played the same teams as everybody else and has contributed more. I agree with you by the way in the sense that I always favour playing our own assets over loanees, but sometimes that can be hard to justify when the loanee is contributing almost 4x more.

You can’t leave Davis out if you’re naming a ‘best XI’

Cant believe people are. Also don't get how anyone can have arfield on the wing. Hes wank there, scored a few at the end of last season but it kills us down the wings

Arfield doesn't get left out of our best team when he's not jaded.

McGregor

Tavernier Katic Helander Barisic

Arfield Jack Davis

Jones Morelos Kent

Goldson should be dropped for his brainfarts against them but won't.

Barisic has a chance to cement his place in the side now.

Arfield slots back into the position he was playing towards the end of last season, where he was lethal.

I know Jones is suspended/injured atm but I'd have him over Ojo.

I understand the criticisms of Ojo and we don't like to see a player who looks frightened at times, but if he could be braver on the ball him and Kent could potentially be frightening on the wings.

Signing Kent has strengthened our side massively.

Aribo out for Davis for me but apart from that I think that's our strongest team.

I know ojo hasn't been brilliant but with him and Kent on either wing I think we could terrorise teams.

Kent think they can work well together:

"Me and Sheyi used to do a lot of damage back in the day"

“He’s a great player, physically he’s a machine, he’s dangerous on the ball, so I think we’ll play together as we used to back in the youth team days.”

Spot on. Kamara as back up in the middle, Defoe and Ojo as back up further forward.

As for the defence, Katic is the only certain starter IMO

Arfield’s playing where he was at the end of last season

Not really surprised that some people would like to see Helander in for Goldson but the little I have seen of Helander I think that I'd personally prefer Edmondson, I know that's highly unlikely but I think the boys another tank and has shown that he can comfortably bring the ball out of defence and can pick a pass.
