Tav had a golden season last year where his attacking stats masked his defensive shiteness, now he's not able to provide as much his defensive shiteness is for all to see

It’s his inability to pass a simple ball to a Rangers player these past few games that dements me.

Other than that one tackle Tav has played well so far, people once again looking to scapegoat players.

He’s fucked up several incredibly simple 5 yard passes. He is nowhere near the level of last season.

We really need some kind of change in approach to break these teams down, we can’t keep scraping by

We’ll drop silly points over the season playing like this. It’s like the players wait for things to happen rather than someone making things happen.

Its going to be another nervy away performance

Gonna be a struggle based on this first 30 mins

Yes.    One of these games again where the team tries but isn't able to create enough in the final third.    If not gone in front by mid way through 2nd half tiredness creeps in after the tough game midweek and StJ sneak a breakaway goal.     They're not playing to win as we'd like to see it ie an open game, but its effective enough if they frustrate for most of the game then sneak a winner.     Gerrard is well aware by now of the problem to be overcome of breaking down stubborn defences.  The question is for this season has he now got the quality and firepower to do it and to put games away so that the final 20-30mins don't become a bit like panic stations.
