It shouldn’t be tough after Thursday SJ are shite we are making it tough for ourselves and if we drop points here the tarriers will extend their lead today and it’s back to the same old same old.

Gerrard knows what to expect from games in Scotland, and what to expect from his players following a midweek European game.    He's had a full season to get used to football life here in Scotland.     He said he wanted to strengthen the quality of player in the squad during the summer transfer window.   A lot of players were added.   He seems convinced enough that the squad is an improvement on quality from the squad he could pick from last season.

The question yet again in games like this will be - does the team actually have enough quality to go and win this sort of game.   So far this season is been a close run thing to squeeze out wins.  Its not really being done on any consistent basis with emphasis, flair, style and plenty of goals being scored so that after a tough midweek European game a league match is settled well before the final 20 mins and panic stations are avoided.

Will the 2nd half see a re-energised Rangers with an improvement in the final third to the point where goals are actually scored?    Hope so.  If not then...…...'nuff said.

He's not the best in the air for such a big player, good feet and a good range of passing. I'm sure he did a last ditch tackle earlier on as well.

To a certain extent that comes into it but it's ridiculous that we can't muster fuck all up to break that down. 

This and the we’re more suited to Europe excuse. We’re playing teams of far better quality in Europe and we’re making them look shite, we quite clearly have enough quality to win the game but the attitude has been all wrong so far.

Its not that hard is it sit the players down with examples of what they are doing wrong then work it into training and concentrate on build up play and making better decisions ?
