Poor overall but we need to be winning games when we don't play well, and we did. Barasic played well again. Alfredo mixing his play up and set up a few great chances that we should have put away. Defending was poor, losing battles for high balls all day long and the midfield got bullied and were second to too many balls. Ref didn't help much either. Felt like a UFC fight more than a football game at times.

Really, really terrible. Job done though.

Turning up at Hampden for once the real test.

I know the scum are already there

Part of me would like Hivs and sheep to go through . We owe the both of them a doing at Hampden

Although we all know it will be a semi final against the bheasts I suppose

It's impossible to play football on a pitch like that.

Add in the fact the opposition are throwing elbows and flying into challenges to break up our play and a ref who allows it to happen - it was always going to be a scrappy, horrible game.

These pitches and tactics are a total embarrassment to the Scottish game.

True, the pitch is awful. However, my problem is we can't see off teams - if we were 2 or 3 up by HT, the flying elbows and hurricane challenges wouldn't be happening. We seem to let these sides into the game, then they fight tooth and nail for every challenge. It is a big problem, we cannot convert our possession - as it has been for the past couple of seasons.

The real problem (apart from us not being able to play on astro) is the shocking challenges that the opposition get away with. Talk about killing football ffs.

Astro? Looked more like burlap , cheap fuckers.

How anyone who would think that shit pitch is anything other than home advantage are deluded.

Aribo took a brutal one but the guy was 'just protecting himself' according the BT,b'tards.

We were poor all over the park but there were some who stood out in their 'poorness'.

Anyway onward and upward, what's the odds on the Tims in the semi?

Into the semi's and there's folk on here moaning expecting a performance every game.  3rd game in 6 days ffs.

You cant bring your A game every match, ppl forget this is a cup game and Livi were throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us.

They had nothing to lose.

Last season that was us losing 1-0 and us missing chances galore, who gives a fuck were through.

We've won a fair few this season without playing great. A fantastic trait to have.

All day long, would we have done this last year, seriously doubt it so the win is a positive regardless of how it was achieved. Surprised that no repetitive comments from Sutton or replays of the potential penalty for ‘BB’, then again not that surprised. Hard fought but welcome win though👍
