Bigdave30 8,701
Arnold, Bissaka, Trippier and Walker are all in front of him in the pecking order.

Probably find a few youngsters as well are ahead of tav given their love of promoting youth
Blue Avenger 22,567
As good as Tav can be, he has no fucking chance of getting near an England cap ffs. Some need to lay aff the drink.

Its one thing england have done to their advantage in the last decade probably, if a youth is good enough potential they get a game to start their international experience

England have Walker, Alexander Arnold, Trippier & Wan Bissaka competing for the right back position as it is and they all play for elite level clubs. I'm not saying ahead of anyone really if you've read what I've written. I'm saying that a Rangers captain who is as good as Tavernier is should have some sort of international recognition. If he was any nationality other than English we would be agreeing.
TheCutch 4,340
He is unlucky in that he is part of a generation where right back is probably Englands most talented/bloated position. They have so much quality to choose from that he is never even getting close to a cap. International call ups per position is a weird one when you think about it. As mentioned previously in this thread, Barisic is first choice LB for the world cup finalists these days, but wouldn't get into a dug shite Scotland team purely as it is our strongest position at the moment. TopCat 4,511
Honestly think he could do a job for England IF given the chance......... but that is highly unlikely given the quality of players available to England in his position. He could however play at international level - no problem - IF he was a different nationality imo.He would walk into Scotland's team for instance - and improve the side - if he were Scottish, obviously. Thank fuck he isn't Scottish. Come back with a knee injury after doing a 30k run two days after playing in Europe.
