So because you lived in Switzerland you know the of synthetic surface Young Boys play on versus what the teams play on here?

From what I can see most UK based teams have been highly critical of the pitch - regardless of the result.

When you say UK teams you mean EPL sides who were critical of playing on any artificial surfaces in Europe as apposed to the condition of YB's pitch.

If you read my post you'll see that I'm pointing out that it won't be as bad as surfaces we play in Scotland which are a joke. The Swiss have money & spend a lot on maintenance. The standards here are night & day compared to UK.

Too many defeatists on here fs it's only Young Boys we're playing not fucking Barca, they only look good because we've been shite this season, we're more than capable of going up there Thursday and turning them over!

First thing a thought of

A draw would be a decent result as I think we are fighting it out with them and Feyenoord for second which I’d gladly take tbh!

They are a team in form, skooshed the league by 20 points, performed very well at Porto and play on an artificial surface.

Given those facts I'll say 2-0

Reckon he might go 4-5-1 here and include Edmundson.

Surely why Gerrard tried that late on v the sheep. Could work too

I would say that yb and us are on a very similar level. There better than feyenoord imo and it will be whoever's better on the day who edges it.

Draw is a good result imo.

Better chance of an away win in Holland.

If we play like we did on Saturday we will have a very good chance of winning.

YB are unbeaten at home in a year and they have a plastic pitch. Tough nut to crack.

Gerrard will not sit back but instead will have a go at them.

I will be over the moon if we get the 3 pts and content with a draw.

They're due one then. To be honest we probably have as much experience playing on artificial surfaces as they do at this point. Maybe not their exact brand of shite turf but it's all the same with the dodgy bounces and rubber pellets getting stuck up yer arse n that.

Look at the state of their grass though. Looks like the loop side of a velcro strip.
