There really needs to be a law where corrections have to be the same size and printed  on the same page as the offending article, for a full week.

Correct, page 17 paragraph 7 gets stumbled on quite the opposite of the in your face banner headlines of the original, which will be believed.

What page did they print the apology on? Not just saying it because it's us, but any time a paper has to print a retraction/apology, it should be front and centre. "We apologise unreservedly" on page 34, in a tiny paragraph.

Sounds a real creepy bastard

By Rebecca Black

January 15 2010

A Sunday World journalist was arrested inside the east Belfast home of Iris Robinson’s former teenage lover.

Hugh Jordan (58) and a second man — believed to be a photographer — were arrested by PSNI officers at around 6.30pm on Wednesday at Kirk McCambley’s home in the Belmont area.

It is understood the pair were in the 21-year-old’s bedroom when they were challenged.

However, speaking to the Belfast Telegraph last night, Mr Jordan denied that he had been arrested.

He said: “No. I was not arrested. That is not true. I was working on a story, like you are.

“I have nothing to say on the matter.”

A PSNI spokesman said police had received a complaint of assault at a property in the Belmont area of east Belfast on Wednesday.

The spokesman said: “Two men, aged 45 years and 58 years, were arrested by police and were released on street bail pending further inquiries.

“There are no reports of any injuries.”

Our club probably said it's fine

Just mention our initiative and we will let bygones be bygones .

No it looks like the board have challenged this because it’s about them. If it was said about us, the ordinary fans, then nothing would have been challenged.
