hammer93 15,057 Posted October 6, 2019 Share Posted October 6, 2019 The last break we had just lost to the vermin and sat 3 points and 10 goals behind....4 weeks later we sit 2 points clear and 6 goals better off.....a 5 point and 16 goal swing....we couldn't have asked for a better reaction, importantly they have shipped 5 points against 2 teams who were struggling for form, it makes our loss to them all the more frustrating but we now have the momentum to carry this for forward as we look for 55 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

But it might turn out to be a good thing in disguise. We've got the finger out and are hitting top form in the league. With players like kent and Jones still to come back in as well. They got over confident and thought they were going to stroll the league. Even had dalglish out talking about an unbeaten season. Now they are under a pressure they haven't had in years, having to chase. With a manager knowing for cracking up and alienating his players when things don't go his way. Yep got Kent, Jones and Aribo to come back in. Hopefully Jack isn't serious and he'll be back as well. We need to be ready to hit the ground running and really press home this advantage. Keep winning and keep the pressure on them. They haven't had to chase for a long time and many in that squad won't have dealt with that kind of pressure.
