What a difference in international breaks

The last break we had just lost to the vermin and sat 3 points and 10 goals behind....4 weeks later we sit 2 points clear and 6 goals better off.....a 5 point and 16 goal swing....we couldn't have asked for a better reaction,  importantly they have shipped 5 points against 2 teams who were struggling for form, it makes our loss to them all the more frustrating but we now have the momentum to carry this for forward as we look for 55

Our only 2 losses this season have been 2 of the most frustrating I can remember for a long time as I know we are better than both teams.

Nobody is saying that but it's nice to enjoy being top of the league. Try savouring it.

To be fair I'm reading that as a dig at the beggars as they started all their shite that the league was bye after the beat us

No one likes losing to them. But it might turn out to be a good thing in disguise.

We've got the finger out and are hitting top form in the league. With players like kent and Jones still to come back in as well.

They got over confident and thought they were going to stroll the league. Even had dalglish out talking about an unbeaten season.

Now they are under a pressure they haven't had in years, having to chase.  With a manager knowing for cracking up and alienating his players when things don't go his way.

Let the good times roll 🍻😁

Last year we got fucked by the international breaks. We need to come back from this one this time.

Yep, said in another thread but we've a tough lineup of fixtures - Hearts away, Motherwell home (best team outside old firm), Ross County away, Hearts semi, Livi away and 2 games against Porto inbetween them

The target was 12 points from 12 domestically since the last break, we've achieved that, that's great, next target set and to be achieved is maximum points form the next block of games, will start getting really excited if we keep meeting our targets around April.

So far so good.

This international break has come at completely the wrong time for us. ☹️

Not at all, we've  a chance to get players rested, get players back from injury and give the gaffer a chance to get some time on the training pitch to work with the players, he's had none in weeks. coupled with them stewing its perfect for us.

Yep got Kent, Jones and Aribo to come back in. Hopefully Jack isn't serious and he'll be back as well.

We need to be ready to hit the ground running and really press home this advantage.  Keep winning and keep the pressure on them.

They haven't had to chase for a long time and many in that squad won't have dealt with that kind of pressure.
