I wanted him gone after the debacle at the piggery but he has come on leaps and bounds. He has scored against pretty much everyone and in big European games, not just against the teams in qualifying. Alfredo will probably need to go elsewhere in England before he he has a look in at Liverpool. Also, Gerrard may be several years away from getting that job if at all. 2) makes sense based on the economic position we are in.
