Raith v Elgin. They'll always steer away from Rangers/celtic Colts games for TV tbh.

Yep, their attitude is that that the premier League teams get enough coverage - so they will always go for lower league level. I thought S4C might show it but Wrexham aren't really a Welsh team.

Clowns. Missing out on a lot of viewers for what seems like principal.

They are subsidised by the Scottish Government and BBC - doubt they strive about figures. Although their best viewing ratings by several orders of magnitude are the delayed broadcast of the Saturday SPFL games - that's obviously a statistical plan to justify average rating over the year

True. Does the BBC really subsidise them? They must be raging about that new BBC Scotland channel.

I think folk are being a bit unrealistic as to what would be a good crowd for this as it is still a youth game at the end of the day.

5-10k would be a good crowd, expecting 20-30k is unrealistic IMO.

I reckon their will be the square root of fuck all there. 5k is way beyond optimistic.

The funding trickles down from private production companies, set up and staffed by BBC employees.  Also, ALBA offices are based at STV Glasgow!! ALBA  exist due to the SNP policy of increasing funding for Gaelic media which has risen significantly since 2007.

Would love to see more bums on seats at Ibrox than at Hampdump on Saturday afternoon...that’d be a real GIRFUY to the SFA from us Rangers fans 👍🏼
