Morelos is our best striker since...

The biggest thing that's changed for Alfredo is his finishing. His first season here he was god awful at it at times. Can't even remember how many sitters he missed in that season. But now I can barely even remember any times where I've thought "he should have scored that" because he just always does now.

He used to be a fantastic player who was an enigma, would play great but miss a sitter or get sent off. He's completely transformed now and is just a fantastic player and rid both of those aspects from his game.

To think there was a time when a lot of us would have sold for £8-10m. Not even that long ago.

That’s a fair point actually about his finishing. Night and day since he arrived.

Best overall striker in my fifty years following Rangers is Mols by some distance.

The best natural finisher has to be Negri.

The rest, including McCoist, Prso, Boyd, Stein, Parlane, Johnstone, Hateley, Mo Johnston, Arveladze, Amato etc trail these two (and Morelos) by some distance.

Morelos is definitely getting there.

Everyone forgetting the great Billy Dodds, shame on you.

Don't think he's handled himself in a way that's endeared him to the fans after leaving us

Mols

loved Prso, Arveladze and more recently Cousin and Jelavic but Morelos I think has surpassed them

His impact in games like last night is unreal he had zero service all game, ran himself into the ground scored the one half chance he got and then found an assist as well

A different player to the one who turned up in Glasgow and leads by example with his attitude and application on the pitch

Prso.  I think Morelos has the potential to go on to be even better though,  We got Prso at the end of his career, we have been lucky to get Morelos near the start.

Morelos is most definitely a better player than Daniel Cousin

The two best strikers I’ve seen play for Rangers are Jelavic and Morelos.  Jelavic was much better in the air but overall Morelos is a better footballer.

I don’t think guys like Mols, Negri, or Boyd come close for various reasons.

Not just the striker angle but the best player I've seen for a while, strength, goals, running off the ball, passing, vision, a natural. Keeps it up and we are successful this season and he'll be up there with goal scoring greats the likes of the Millars, Forrests, Steins, McCoists and Johnstone's, remembered forever.

I agree on the passing bit, mate. See when he plays a pass, it's always the right weight on the pass required for the situation. Look at the pace and accuracy for the assist that led to Helanders goal at the weekend as a prime example.

I’m going to say since jelavic.

Jelavic was incredible, tap ins, flicks, overhead kicks, headers and also goals against the tims and league titles/cups. M

he really was a terrific striker.

Or Francis Jeffers

Starting to wonder if his talent was just a myth.

He never lived up to his apparent potential, maybe he didn't have potential then?
