I’ve seen him twice at dinners, he’s been superb, the crowd, mostly mixed, loved his stories. Couldn’t fault him in those occasions. however, I’ve heard a few reports about him turning up late, been blotto, not very interested etc. Those reports are sad to hear. A lot of these dinners these players, comedians, etc that do then are for fundraising for different reasons, and since they are getting well paid for it, and a free dinner(I used to run a football club years ago, and I had to deal with these people when negotiating a fee, so I know what they are asking for a nights “work”) then the least they can do is honour their agreement and be professional.
