Regardless of a pie banana (obviously racist connotations if a banana) the club should have been on the front foot and had a prepared statement out first thing this morning. If it was a banana there’s no way our captain would have ignored it and not drawn it to the referees attention, our manager would have spoken about it after the game and our club would have released a statement today condemning it. Steven Gerrard would have been all over that in his post match interview ffs. It must be the first banana I've ever seen that has crumbs flying off of it when it hits something. It's just going to sound like sore grapes saying stuff like that after we dropped points. The club would be spot on, but it would be played down as us just being pissed at dropping points.
