Kinda looking forward to this now, certainly wasn't at 5 o clock on Sunday. Any win we finish top of the group, is that right?

Yep. And a draw could send us through if the other two draw or (I think) if Feyenoord beat Porto, we win and keep a better goal difference after head to head.

Spot on.

I’ll be gutted if it looks like we are heading through and the subway loyal start boosting. Want to see at least 40,000 there applauding the team off after making the knockouts.

Could be scudding them 4-0 and about 15’000 would already be away at full time.

Or if a team going through 4 rounds of qualifying has either?

Would be some achievement.

Only Red Star Belgrade have managed that in their 17/18 season. They got all the way to the round of 32 and fucked it against CSKA Moscow.

Malmo can do it along with us on Thursday too.

Teams that have made it through all 4 rounds are:

Apollon Limassol Cyprus 2018/19
Copenhagen Denmark 2018/19
Fulham England 2011/12
Gabala Azerbaijan 2015/16, 2016/17
Maccabi Tel-Aviv Israel 2016/17, 2017/18
Malmo FF Sweden 2019/20
Rangers Scotland 2018/19, 2019/20
Red Star Belgrade Serbia 2017/18
Rosenborg Norway 2012/13, 2015/16
Sarpsborg Norway 2018/19
Skenderbeu Albania 2017/18
Tromso Norway 2013/14

Gabala and Maccabi Tel Aviv are the only others to do it in back to back seasons, but I think we're the only ones to get through all qualifiers in both seasons without any losses.

We can make it out the group on Thursday.

Absolutely enormous achievement. Especially this season given the teams in our group!

A draw takes us through on Thursday but our players and manager cannot go in with that in mind. Play to win and the worst we get is a draw. Play to draw and you are asking for trouble. We are a good side with a couple of players that need a boot up the arse. Definitely better than YB and our home Europa Record is absolutely phenomenal.

As hard as it is people need to put Sunday behind them and realise that if we manage to get European football after Christmas it'll be a fantastic achievement, if we manage to top a group where nobody gave us a chance of progressing even better.

Massive night ahead and I'm fully confident that we'll get the job done.
