MacBoyd 5,328
Looks so much more natural. His fitness seems to have improved again too. Aribo looks good on the right imo. Much better this way.
bluenoz 30,287
Tbh, he was shoehorned in at RW because of the play of Kamara, Davis & Jack. A much better player when he is facing the play. Ran for miles today.
Professor_Chang 1,049
Hes always been better centrally. That spell at the end of the season when him n Defoe were great, Gerrard stuck with it. Hes now realized wasnt working
the old guard 2,291
Definatly one of his better performances of the season, suits that position playing one in from aribo, still not sure about aribo wide right, has to cut in constantly but at the moment there's not a viable option, a position I think we need to strengthen asap. SeparateEntityMyArse 53,242
Impressed by Arfield today and I've not said that much this season.
MayboleLoyal_atb 3,630
Was good today. Long may it continue
SuperPapac05 3,383
He's far to slow for the wings. He better in central. We have a real battler in there right in the thick of it.
Del 667
Best performance we've seen in a while from Arfield! I dont necessarily think it was the formation or where he was playing that made the difference, he just had a good game.
Boybluesy 3,663
Quality player. Had a poor run of form due to Canada, domestic issues and being played out of position. We need him on top form especially with Davis out.
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Aribo has to be given time to find his feet in that position he will be huge for us. Arfield to be fair won’t get a game when Davis comes back. Midfield 3 is Davis Jack Kamara until we buy someone better and Arfield really has no complaints. ForeverAndEver 70,938
Been gave a run in midfield and looked a lot better.

For the big games most likely yes but against teams were we want to be a bit more attacking I would start Arfield over Kamara. Also good to have a viable option were the performance level's don't take a significant dip.
dee9 3,967
Yes he was good today. Putting fires out all over the park. Hopefully the start of his season now.
MFJ14 464
He's a good player is Arfield, just not having the best of times in terms of form. He knows what it's about, which is the main thing. He will be back to it sooner rather than later. Edit - he played well today.

Think he has been off the boil for weeks now. Loses the ball too much putting others under pressure, ie Jack bookings and his passing and defensive game are both below par. On present showing, think he could be the one to be sidelined when Davis is back.
KBOO72 4,332
He'll be shoehorned in at RW again as soon as Davis is fit. He's one of Gerrards favourites.
Bearsden bear 2,376
Strong and brave and never shirks a challenge. Struggled with form but wont ever hide.

I agree he gives you plenty of options from the bench just the type of player every team needs but for me he isn’t in the starting 11 anymore. On the attacking option Jack has a far better touch and shot than Arfield which Kamara isn’t really there to do
King Jela 20,016
Back to his old self hopefully. Both him and Aribo have looked great recently. Definitely still need a good right winger/inside forward with both Arfield and Aribo moving back in the middle for more options.
