Players' 'reputation' influencing refereeing decisions. Morelos is the pantomime villain so there's no such thing as the benefit of the doubt with im in refs' eyes. He's not the first and won't be the last.

So impartial adjudicators aren't impartial. Theres disparity in how he is treated compared to others. I'd agree.

I'd call that bias be it conscious or unconscious.

But please dont concur, dont want us all to be in the paranoid gang.

Hibs, and John Potter, face the same charges.

one thing thats forgotten is that he dived and got sent off, he then made a gesture (wether rightly or wrongly interpreted) after having been sent off for making a gesture a few weeks before, why not just take the sending off and walk down the tunnel, we were winners that day, once the games over come back out and rub it in their faces with your teammates. he needs to wise up at times for me, he knows he will be picked on for the slightest things, dont give them more amunition.

saying that though this mystery yellow is clearly to appease the undesirables to shut them up and make it look like theyve done something about it.

this shouldn't even come into it. Ref is supposed to be impartial 🤣 yet the things some  of the scum players got away with. Julien should have already been off the pitch before the diving at the end. Not that I'm defending morelos, it was a dive, but fuck me. He must be thinking what other  players need to do to get sent off

Not wanting to go over that game again, but it was the first booking for the wee shove on Brown (which Brown would never have been booked for of it was the other way around) that Clancy used as his stepping stone to make it easier to send Alfrdo off for what was a poor attempt at a dive, certainly Christie would  not have been sent off for the same dive. 😊

SECTION 2: OFFENCES/EXCESSIVE MISCONDUCT

1. Reporting of Offences by Match Officials

1.1 The referee shall administer cautions and sendings-off in accordance with the Laws of the Game and report them to the Scottish FA.

1.2 A caution or sending-off is not nullified by a referee failing to show the player the appropriate card when administering the caution or sending-off to the player or by any other omission by a referee.

1.3 The referee shall also report offences by players, providing details, where the referee cannot administer a caution or sending-off for the offence but otherwise would have done so (for example because the player has already been dismissed during the match). Such offences, and offences for which a caution or sending-off has been administered, shall all be treated as cautionable or sending-off offences, as applicable, in these Disciplinary Procedures.

1.4 Where the referee intends to report an offence under clause 1.3, he shall generally inform an appropriate member of Team Staff or Team Official of his intention as soon as possible after the match.

Question is which Team Staff or Official was made aware and when. Everything procudaral wise re a further yellow is in the rules, so guess it all comes down to the club knowing about the yellow.

If they did, in the immediate aftermath of the game and sat on it whilst releasing statements etc up til now, then they can take a fuck to themselves for being culpable in bringing the shit that keeps on coming.

The club is always formally notified when a player is cautioned or dismissed.

You'ld think with the extent Clancy went to , to make sure Katic knew he had been booked ie showing the yellow card twice , he'd ensure Morelos would have known about his the third yellow card at the time .

I'll hopefully find out soon enough from Rangers - although they have a tendency not to respond to questions they don't like.

Aye , I can imagine .

Sadly I don't see them saying anything to anybody about any of today's events .

I am presuming Morelos was informed at the time.

In our case, two weeks later is as soon as possible and even later, to allow the haters time to make shite up.

Need to know the truth on when we were told, as it seems strange that Gerrard not anyone else mentioned this until now. If it is indeed only recent, then the club has to nail them.

The witch-hunt is maddening.

In a wider sense, that things like Kent and Morelos' celebration/gestures get viewed as punishable by authorities is just the most pathetic example of a society and game that is desperate to find victims in everything. Its brutal to watch.

That it is so selectively applied is what makes me rage though.

We already have selectarianism. Now we've got disrepute depending on who it is 😠

Porteous flattens Defoe off the ball, Julien flattens Morelos off the ball, Brown elbows Tavernier off the ball all caught on camera by major broadcaster....nothing to see here, move along.

Morelos makes game over gesture, Kent makes rapper gesture, Candeias blows a kiss....guilty as charged.

🙈🙉🙊

It is amazing that in a game that could or even should have had at least three celtic players sent off, Rangers has come out with more sfa charges

It is done by the power of Liewell, he runs Scottish football unfortunately.  🙁
