Give up mate, Defoe looks after himself properly, as has been said this could literally happen to any player

Ok, its just a coincidence that defoe gets injured for the first time when he has been asked to play so many minutes in such a short space of time

Why not if we play to his strengths he gets goals Defoe scores a goal in the league every 75 minutes french eddy  cant even manage that and he has scored the most league goals.

If Defoe had started games instead of Morelos we wouldn't be where we are atm.

Poor first half with hardly a  sprinkling of decent moments. Defoe's finish rescued the half and was one only very few could have completed. Overall, apart from the goal, the first half was as bad as all the other games since the break. Second half started and we looked like a different side.....for five minutes, then back to the dross we've seen all too often recently. This system, with two roving number 10's clearly doesn't work against the poorer teams in the division and wastes Kent who is a far better player when out wide. Katic.....he must have either two left feet or boots on the wrong feet. Week in, week out he makes a competition with himself to make the most wayward passes in a game. Barisic....what has happened to the guy who whips dangerous crosses in? He can't get it past the first defender since the break! It's like they've all had a confidence transplant.

Once Tav gets back would like to see Polster get a game in the midfield 3

Too far.

He's done alright and he's putting effort in when some others don't seem to be, but by fuck he's limited as a player. At least three times he had the ball taken off him trying to beat their left back/midfielder.

Not a bad shout. He has a football brain and can play it on the deck better than I thought. Likes a tackle as well. He is a big lad.

After watching Kamara again tonight he deserves a chance

I agree, he has his limitations but considering his lack of game time, he has done exceptionally well.

Can't agree. As below par as Kamara's been recently even in tonight's game there were a few things from him that are just levels above what Polster is capable of (or seems to be). It's Halliday all over again just on the other side of the pitch. Keeps it simple, puts in the effort and rightly gets praised for it but the ability's just not there.

You can’t compare Polster to Haliday.
Kamara hasn’t shown since the break that he derives to start.

Exceptionally is too strong for me but he's done better than any one of us thought he would for sure and looks a better option than Flanagan as back up.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought he was ok without being great, as you say too many times he found himself in good areas up the park only to either fail to get by his man or deliver a good telling ball, in saying that he didn't do much wrong defensively, all in all Tav gets some amount of abuse at times but nobody can deny we have a better balance and shape with him in the side.
