Living with fear is far from a good thing and it may be the watershed moment in Alfie deciding to leave, because that incident could have turned out much worse to become the unthinkable. Confronting some junky taig bastard is not something to face with a pregnant wife. "Attempted murder"? - I don't think so. There was nobody "under" the car - it can't even go over a speedbump without scraping both ends. Even Bobby fucking Sands couldn't get under it.
