It's no better than when we were watching Martin Waghorn and Josh Windass, but multiple amounts of cash have been spent on this lot.

Get him to fuck.

The difference is when we had Martin Waghorn and Josh Windass teams came and had a go and played against us. Teams are back to putting 11 men behind the ball and it doesn’t make good viewing.  Who is going to make us better? They haven’t won the treble treble yet and let’s be honest they shouldn’t even have won the league cup. Yet another display of blatant cheating from a referee.

As long as this form is arrested, Gerrard gets another season for me. Still think there's alot positive about him. A good deal more positive than negative.

He's still new to this. Surely we knew when we took him on we should be expecting mistakes given he's a rookie?

I think it's the repeated failure to learn from his mistakes that is the worrying thing mate.

We’ve got nowhere near enough funds to pay this managerial team off, it’s not just one guy. King invested heavily in him and his background staff and all we can do is pray to fuck some sort of corner is turned.

paying off staff also means hiring a new team, we genuinely can’t afford that, especially a new managerial team that just signed to 2024

Same formation every game

Same tactics every game

Cant change a game tactically if it’s not going well

Cant cope with teams that sit in on us.

Bottle nearly every big game that matters.

Gerrard for me isn’t good enough because of the above, two seasons and hasn’t learnt a thing. Fucking brutal.

The players are in the same boat.

And the captains armband should be given to someone who doesn’t give the ball away constantly and glare at teammates as if it’s their fault.

7 weeks ago we are joint top.

3 weeks ago we were looking at going top by a point and now we are out of the race.

That is shocking.

That's it, we have to just stick with it and hope to build a team and mentality that can foster a winning environment in the 2020's.....

Tbf, 1 and a half years isn't along time in learning terms for a newbie manager.

At this point I would say yes. He was backed with money to win the league this season and we are miles off the pace again.

The only reason it might not be is because of the compensation we would have to pay to him and his backroom team. They all signed new deals a few weeks ago.

celtic have no problem breaking teams down..Rangers play the same as they did under Warburton and Murty- slow, multiple touches, sideways, no urgency, no movement and no penetration. They get 10 men behind the ball because we LET them get 10 men behind the ball because our attacks are so pedestrian and predictable.

Its utter shite.

He’s being made to look like a tactical dud by Neil Lennon..who isn't exactly a managerial genius himself.

We've falling apart 2 years straight.  He's still dropping points to the same sides who play the exact same tactics and he can't make a sub until it's too late.

Gerrard said mistakes where being learned clearly they haven't.

Unless he walks away he's going no where. The board can't afford a pay off, for a recently resigned management staff ,new manager/staff and then new players on top.

We've throwing all our eggs in this basket.

Still no, he's clearly struggling to figure out what's went wrong, but imo he should be given time to sort it, however playing the same system every week is worrying, let's see where we are in May, as much as I hate Chris Sutton he's bang on when he says our big players have downed tools since parkhead, Kent, Morelos and Davis have been a shadow of themselves from the first half of the season

Aye mate, he’s not getting sacked.

I’m just resigned to 10/11 in a row whilst he’s here.

He hasn’t an idea of what it takes to win in Scotland.

Btw, maybe we don't want to admit it, but sellic have better players, so they WILL find breaking teams down easier.

This.

It’s easy for people to say teams will try harder against us than them but that’s the true reality.

The tarriers shoot on sight, attack with 6-7 players and continue to do so until they get their goal (s).

If we actually had the tactical awareness to attack in numbers and continue to go for the jugular when we’re up 1-0 we’d be in a much better place.

Instead we go side to side, out to the wing, whip it in to one guy and repeat.

Lennon, since break, has changed his tactics to accommodate  2 goal scoring strikers.

We just go again..

Lennon also caught a lot of flack for changing their approach so they are a bit more direct and for getting the ball back to front quicker but that’s exactly what you need to do to win in this league. Gives sides less time to get back in and reorganise themselves.

Gerrard simply has to be given next season. Changing managers and therefore players is not the answer to stopping ten. There is a good nucleus in that squad. We simply have to keep going. Maybe a new Chairman and new investment can spark new ideas. Gerrard is NOT without fault but I don't think he is the reason for us not catching them. He needs more time. I'm beginning to wonder however if he will be up for the fight.
