Abolsutely fucking sick of it. Sideways then backwards. No forward momentum or changing of gears going forward. Even when we do get into attacking positions we slow it down.

Been like this since Gerrard took over so why the fuck isn't he learning or adapting. Brutal

wingers who run across pitch instead of attacking full back and getting cross in

One winger we have who doesnt go sideways isnt getting a game. SG has his favourites and no matter how shite they are they still play. Took more than half a season to get rid of Ojo.

What the fuck do we work on in training? We have no idea than a few passes sideways then out to the wing and try to cross it. Crossing is statistically the least productive way to score and yet it’s our only game plan. For all his faults recently I’ve lost track of the amount of times Kent runs and runs with the ball and gives it away purely because he has no one to pass it to, the players in front of him are stood still making no options, tonight he literally ran from on side of the pitch to another more than once without a single player making a run or doing anything to get in a position to receive the ball.

We were a team of spirited underdogs, doing one over on the champions at the turn of the year. Now with the heavy weight of expectation on us, the players are constantly looking for the safe option in fear of making mistakes and getting it tight from the support. Ryan Kent's the best example of this. Start of the season? Always looking to take on his man. After the break? Cut inside, backwards pass or a wayward early ball into the box.

We needed to bring in experience in January. Player's who've been there and done it. Who know how to drag a team over the line when the pressure's on. We didn't.

I guarantee we'll start playing better again now that we've blown it and the pressure's off. We'll give Braga a right good game as well. Bookmark it.

We're very good at it.

Or, in Kent’s case, running across the pitch to deliver it in person.

Or hitting the goal line, about turn & pass it 25 yards straight back where he’s come from.

Penetrative, it ain’t.

Always feel at times our forward players should drop of a bit to give themselves a bit of room for a more direct run. All to often they get the ball 30 yard out with three defenders around them. At the moment our movement of the ball to drag players away and create some space is non existent.

If you watch the training clips on RTV from what they show  it's all very repetitive.

And the other one that rips my knitting is when Jack bursts through the middle from the half way line, gets to 22 yards out, looking set to leather it.......

Stops on a sixpence & spreads it out to a guy who’s 30 yards further from the posts than he is🙈🙈🙈

Pure fear of taking responsibility and it not working. A worry about the mentality of the whole squad when the manager's favourite player is giving in to it.

Been saying for a bit that we seem to win despite things, rather than because of them.

Tonight’s a good example.

Without SA’s great strike, we’d have had nothing to show for it.

We didn’t work any sort of opportunity that gave us a great, clear cut chance, that couldn’t possibly be interfered with by an official.

(Unless Aribo’s 1st half effort fell into that category - had to pop out with the dog when he missed that one..)

Ive lost count of amount of times I scream at them to turn and drive, but no the default position is pass the way you are facing and keep possession.

Means that nobody does much wrong.

By the same token, a lot of players don’t do much, either.....
