I think he will walk at the end of the season, no up and coming manager adored down south will want to have the 10iar failure on his CV when the shit hits the fan. Not good for his PR in England.

Top flight English teams aren't gonna touch him if he leaves here without winning anything.

He won't walk, it's not his style.

This week really is make or break for him.

Europe is a bonus at this point but if we go out, and I expect we will, the same people who say they don’t care about Europe will suddenly use it as a stick to beat him with and that just adds more pressure.

The game against Hearts is must win. If he loses that then his coat is very much on a wobbly peg (although Saturday is a cup game it’s worth noting that we are still the only team Hearts have beat in the league under Stendel and he  took over in the second week of December).

A bang average tarrier team are coasting to 9 in a row, its frustrating as fuck mate

Lets be frank, they are far from bang average. They’ve dropped 8 points all season. Will hit 100 points, won their EL group including wins home and away against a team fighting to win the Italian league.

Even without our dreadful run since January, we’d have to have delivered an unprecedented season, in terms of points for us, to win the league.

It is frustrating, no doubt. But we’re still going to end up on 85-90 points which would normally at least put you in contention to win a league.

Not good for his PR in England to be coming a distant second in a two horse race mate.

Probably a fair point tbh mate.

And that’s before we look at the lack of trophies won within the squad. Very few, and I include the manager, know how to get over the line. To win the league we’re going to need a combination of a good season & them chucking it. It’s exactly what happened in 97/98 - we gift wrapped that one to them and even then they made it hard for themselves to win it.

Their win streak is massively helped having no pressure as we implode, start of the season when we kept up with them they got nervous and dropped points

Now they are going into games in party mode as usually before then we have fucked it

We were absolute dug shit playing 4321 again, and got ourselves back in the lead after we went 442 - only to got back to 4321 and lose a goal (with our top scorer and most creative threat sitting in the stand when we needed a winner).

Katic was stinking too, and should have been hooked.

How people can say ‘don’t blame Gerrard’ is beyond me.

Thrown away the title because he’s not brave enough to play 2 up top when it’s painfully obvious the 1 isn’t working.

If we won the Scottish Cup and went another round or two in Europa, where does that put Gerrard in peoples minds?

Personally, I think it still makes him a work-in-progress. Only a league will see him as a success.

If we win the Scottish Cup and reach the last 16 of Europa I'd be gob-smacked.

They only dropped 8 points in the first half of the season though. That’s a superb return. They still had to keep winning since January and they have

On the verge of last 16 in Europa league. Sack the manager... christ.

We have some right stupid fans.

We chased a manager who ACTUALLY got us to the CL last 16, and said manager actually made a transfer profit in his time at the club and one who had won 7 trophies in the previous 3 and a half seasons, so why should gerrard get special treatment

If you wanted you could also compare the number of international players in the squad and their caps compared to ours but that would also demonstrate the job Gerrard faces with our inexperience compared to theirs.

The biggest issue we have at our club is that no manager will ever be given time to truly compete. Every manager will be expected to do just that based on a lesser aberage player salary,, transfer budget, loan budget and with a poorer starting squad. But with a "we're Rangers, fucking win the league now or gtf" attitude remains.

I'd fucking bite your hand off for that right now. We will eventually win the league.

We'd only dropped 7 in first half of the season, yeah they had to keep winning, but going to tough venues after we've dropped points the day before gives them breathing space, they can be more relaxed

They have been good but lets not kid ourselves that our implosion hasnt helped their form

Must break out the fucking champagne then!

With that logic you must be a serial loser as well.

The flaws are obvious. Rinse and and repeat. Not learning.

We gift wrapped the title for them, again!
