As things stand currently(i think)

13th Denmark - 28, 250

14th Scotland - 27, 875

17th Greece - 26, 100

19th Switzerland - 25,300

Any win we, Basel or Copenhagen get is worth 0.500 points, 0.400 for Olympiakos. A draw is 0.250 and 0.200.

IF Basel or Olympiakos go out in last 16, top 15 is secured. Ideally they draw each other with Basel winning.

I'm getting confused by all of this now!

Almost right, Basle also get 0.4 for a win and 0.2 for a draw, as Switzerland had 5 teams this year.

See if Kilmarnock had only beaten Connah's Quay Nomads....:dunno:

Exactly, Mickey Mouse teams complaining about financial gaps and how Scotland can’t compete in Europe when they’re the problem

What about the financial gap between them and Connahs Quay, Motherwell and the numerous horrendous teams that have put them out etc. Maybe if they tried playing some football rather than loading their teams with hammer throwers we’d all get on a lot better

Exactly, they can't get away with their hacking in Europe or against them. Refs will quickly dish out the cards.

I'm sure we already have it. We're sitting 13th and only need to be 15th

We dropped to 14th as Denmark leap-frogged Scotland by beating them last night. That said top 15 get 2 CL slots so we would need to drop 2 more places and there are only 2 countries below Scotland that have teams still in Europe this season. They are Greece and Switzerland with one team each left in the EL last 16.

Scotland are on 27.875 points, Greece 26.100 and Switzerland 25.200. Both the other countries had 5 participating teams this season so they obtain 0.400 points for each win and 0.200 for a draw.

In a worst case scenario that we lose both home and away to Leverkusen (no taig comments please as I am not saying I think this will happen), Greece would need 1,800 to overtake us which would mean Olympiakos achieving 4 wins and a draw so reaching at least the semi finals and Switzerland 2.700 points. If Basle win the cup this would be a maximum of 7 wins giving them 2.800 points.

Both Olympiakos and Basle achieving this is highly unlikely and even if one did it Scotland would still be 15th.

If we pick up even 1 draw against Leverkusen we put it out of Switzerland's reach and if we do better then Copenhagen we would go back above Denmark. .

Again, almost right. There are bonus points now for each round further a team progresses (QF, SF and F). So that comes to 0.2 per round advanced for both Greece and Switzerland - we need a win and a draw to put it theoretically out of Switzerland's reach, as if Basle win all 7 games they get (7 × 0.4) + (3 × 0.2) = 3.4. As it stands they could get to the final and lose it and still finish above us if we lose both games.

They won't win all their games and we are already practically guaranteed top 15.

Scottish football abandoned us when we went down, couldn’t give a fuck about helping the rest of those cunts, we need to put it all into winning the league next year and we are in the cl anyway, who cares about helping the peados and sheep shaggers getting there as well?! The peados are probably hoping they have a guaranteed chance at it so they can use it to pay off the victims of child abuse.
