GOAT 30,449
On fire for the spoon burners. Think he’ll ever get a chance here, or has he found his level?

Think he’ll ever get a chance here, or has he found his level? did not think he was in the game much in the 1st half but he played very well 2nd half and scored a terrific goal problem is he is not as good as our current midfield maybe get a chance next year
andyhrfc 2,242
We need 3 or 4 decent goal scorers on top of the likes of Kent, Hagi, Aribo etc. If he scores consistently he is definitely an option. Only 23 so time yet.
STEPPS BOY 73,886
I’m surprised he was let go when we have no box to box midfielder at moment. Going forward though, No point any of us moaning about lack of quality and then accepting him back next season. Hagi, Kent and Jack are going to be 3 of Midfield/Forward 6 next season. The other 3 need to be genuine quality.
bluenoz 30,807
I'm changing my tune a wee bit on Doc. Perhaps he is exactly what we need in midfield from time to time in the not so glamorous Scottish league.

five stars 1,621
His energy and athleticism could be useful in certain games.
.Williamson. 82,115
Arfield has scored goals recently that in the grand scheme of things meant nothing
BookWorm 4,119
I would like to see Docherty back after his loan spell. I think he could do a decent job in midfield.
East Enclosure Row N 2,823
We signed so many of these guys who never got the chance of a decent run in a blue jersey to show what they can do in our team and formation, never mind anyone else's. For me, Greg Docherty is one of those. Defo not enough starts to judge him one way or the other. A couple of games here and there is nothing.

Without looking too deeply at his performances with Hibs, his stats are becoming impressive. Given Flo’s impact with us, it appears to be a swap which is shaping up very well for all concerned. glasgow argyle 1,093
He obviously can't play against us, but hope he can do us a favour against septic
BlueSuedeSambas 53,771
Think he’s done enough in his two loan spells and improved enough during them to get a crack at it at some point. He would run all day, put a shift in and give us a bit of physicality in midfield - especially in certain away games - which then allows the other more creative players to go and influence the game. We’ve had lots of players who have done that what is a pretty unimpressive, under the radar job like that over the years and had a decent Rangers career as a result. I don’t see why he couldn’t be another one, but I doubt he will ever get the chance now.
RangersMedia 35,961
He can do a job as a backup midfielder but the question is really whether he's happy with that or not The Athletic claim we wanted an option to buy on Kamberi but what scuppered it was Hibs wanted the same for Docherty but he wants a move to England if we don't see his future with us
TMB 14,167
During the summer Hibs are going to want Docherty as a straight swap for Kamberi. I'd rather keep Docherty and just give them Kamberi back.

Darth Bear 15,091
Swop deal looks obvious but both players need to want it. Should have got more match time if only from the substitute bench. It was about having a squad this year and using it to avoid burnout but we didn't seem to do that.

Malkytfp1 18,592
Don't get people writing him off. He has hardly had a chance here and looks a genuine box to box midfielder. Young player with room to develop too.
bluebell82 243
Docherty, for me, hasn't been given time to prove himself for us - i like the look of him and think he'll be in the english premier league in 3/4 years.
