If Arteta can get Arsenal, Lampard Chelsea and we Ollie at Man U, Gerrard will have no problems getting a EPL team, and what will we get, has beens and never beens, Warburton springs to mind "we go again"! That’s maybe why he’s considering his future now. Looking from down south they couldn’t give a single fuck about the shite that is Scottish Football. The fact we’ve had this good run in Europe will stand him in good stead for a job down there and Gerrard knows that this team is going nowhere and the longer he stays the worse it might get for his reputation. Just now it can be put down to a serious dip in form when we all know that the squad is simply not good enough. He goes now and he leaves with his reputation pretty much intact. This team gave us a great win at park head 8weeks ago! N we as fans have turned on them so quickly! And shattered there confidence. Nikola Katic scored the winner now cant kick his own arse, Glen Kamara being linked with big moves away and was full of confidence to take a ball under pressure n turn a opponent and start attacks now not near the team due to lacking confidence. James Tavernier stepped up that day and played a blinder! Confidence away aswell now. Ryan Jack, Steven Davis, Ryan Kent all the same! Confidence shattered! All because of 5 games in a row at ibrox when we came back after the winter break! The fans support 2 men regardless of how they are performing! Barisic and Morelos! The two of them always get off scott free maybe if we took that approach with the rest of the team we would still be seeing that confident team that we saw and loved at Parkhead 1 bad result after the break n we throw the towel in giving it "same as last season after the break" start moaning and groaning at player for giving a ball away! In europe we support the team and it helps alot and gives them the confidence to want the ball and make things happen Ibrox is an easy place for spl teams to come now and a nightmare for our own players. I’ve said it before but the League Cup was huge. That would have hopefully given the players some belief. We obviously blew that (with a little help from the officials) and this side crumble every time questions are asked of them. Forget Europe, that’s a nice little cash bonus, it’s domestic football that matters most at the end of the day and we are woeful.
