I think given Jack was injured midfield picked itself. I considered Hagi but he's probably lacking defensive commitment so I get Gerrard going with Kent and Aribo, they pressed well when behind the ball. I'm not sure the logic of the starting 11 can be ripped apart at all. That said I think in possession we were dreadful. Fortunately better out of possession. Did more 2nd half but got punished for opening up more. I can criticise performances tonight but no, for me the tactics and starting 11 were sensible. Think tonight showed the sheer weakness of our depth. The bench was really poor overall and too many in our starting 11 let us down tonight touch and pass wise (but that hasn't been a new thing for them). We get quality players to put the likes of Davis and co on the bench and we'll be in a great position I think. It is what it is. Been a great run this season. I think if we upgraded some parts of the team (namely midfield for me) we'd have got something from tonight.
