Good to see new headlines about how well we did, helping th co-efficient, o wait, no it isn't, it is about some factors that threw a Buckie bottle and lighter at the leverkusen players.

No wonder, why morons think it is alright to throw bottles and lighters at players and get away with is crazy. Highlighted at the Hearts game and this game shows some of our so called support should be nowhere near public events and there will be some whining if stands are closed again by UEFA.

108m spent in the summer.  A team that's beat fucking Bayern munich away from home this season. We're a team struggling for attacking flair and consistency in general play. We restricted them to one shot on target from distance at the time this was posted, plus a self inflicted penalty.

Fucking coco the clown is our Ivy.

Bayer Leverkusen are a very, VERY good team. We did what we could with a team that wasnt our first chocie. Jack would have helped us a lot tonight, but its not over yet. We are at half time and people are chucking it already. Fucking NO SURRENDER! They are a better team than we are but we will make a fight of it!

Probably because we’re playing a far far superior team and we’ve been push for months 120 minutes aside

It Wasn’t luck that got us to the last 16 :hmmm:

No you're right mate it wasn't, I suppose the feeling was more that lightning doesn't strike twice, ie coming back from 2 down for a second round was a bridge to far.

As pointed out elswhere, you need to look at the quality of opponent, squad worth 500 million.

Seen a lot of people say Braga were better than them.

Main difference is Braga were in top form and top gear when they played us and any players they brought on were weaker than their starting XI.

Bar 15 mins in the second half I felt the Germans could’ve upped it as much as they wanted throughout the whole game and they did a couple of times. That’s the difference and why we set out to contain them and it was working brilliantly until the penalty.

2nd and 3rd goals are quality finishes.

Braga completely outplayed us in that hour plus at Ibrox. That mob last night were a good side but nowhere near as good as some of the shite thats been quoted on here. Their defence was all over the fuckin place all night , I thought at halftime he must have noticed how bad they were at the back.

We were brutal right from the first whistle , sitting back like that any team is going to look good against us. Dont care who we are playing at Ibrox , we should never be sitting as deep against anybody.

Its a stick on he will do exactly the same against the papes.......

Braga appeared weakened by their substitutions.

Bayer brought on 3 players who cost them 35m and who are valued 2 to 3 times that.  We brought on two loanees and a freebie. Combine that with their starting 11 who arguably were even better than their subs and we can see why they were streets above Braga let alone us.
