Lawwell may be panicking if he feels a need to reinforce their stance with another media statement.

Hopefully he's been told a null season is on the table.

I don't think it is a coincidence this comes out with the Spanish FA saying they won't crown champions if the season can't be completed.

As many have already said, the season cannot be voided as the consequences of that are so severe. In the event that the matches cannot be completed, then the responsibility to find a fair and reasonable solution for the finalisation of all domestic leagues will be with the Scottish football governing bodies.

That cunt liewell is ramping up the rhetoric. In a time when people are dying and worried about their jobs he uses narratives like this. Hopefully karma will hurry up and get rid of this bastardised football team!

What are the consequences?

I can't see how it should make any difference, considering we won't be playing anymore games however they decide to do it.

I think all top flight clubs in Britain should be deducting 10% of their players wages and donating it to the NHS to help with this testing time for them.

Problem isn’t the money, it’s the fact we haven’t stockpiled the equipment they need, the companies that make them are running at full speed and can’t make enough.

Unsurprisingly trying to take the moral high ground and claim integrity is in their favour 😂😂👍

Rancid cunt, folk are dying and he’s still banging on about a completely irrelevant league title, hope the fat cunt meets Covid-19 soon.

They didn’t suspend season 39/40 mate the voided it.

Season 46/47 was a whole new season.

39/40 was voided with Rangers top and the championship wasn’t given to us.

Same this season to keep the integrity of the game going. 👍

I can’t see any either, no team has done enough to win the league just as no team has done enough to be relegated. Void it is the only fair way to go if the league can’t be completed before UEFA’s deadline.
There’s an argument to do what is in the best interests of football teams that are struggling and call it finished now, this will allow them to activate any insurance policies and SFA to put all their efforts into keeping clubs alive. Trying to steal a league title is insignificant compared to that but even clubs going out of business  I wouldn’t call severe at this moment of time, people are dying and that cunt thinks language like that is acceptable.

The first league is the official league that was abandoned after 5 games.

The other league that lasted 30 games is the unofficial Emergency League Western División.

We won the unofficial one after a play off against  Eastern league winners Falkirk.

The official league that got abandoned after 5 games was null and void.

Rangers could have at least kept there view quiet until things became a bit clearer on timescales and stuff.

Ok not read the rest if this thread since this post, so apologies if this is s repeat. Rangers statement t was after a weekend of concerted 'give celtic the title' in the press, it was constant from all the cheerleaders, one of whom changed his mind between Friday and Monday, another had two different opinions based on Scottish football and English football.

Rangers were absolutely correct to put out that statement, otherwise the agenda was truly set.

Declare Rangers and celtic joint champions just like in 1891 with Rangers and Dumbarton. Tims can't complain, they still get their 9iar.  🙂

Would be better with neither getting it to be honest. If they want 9 they need to earn it. 👍
