Just seen that the Egyptian league was cancelled we’ll into the season in both 2011/12 and 2012/13 and no one was handed a championship.

Now I know it’s different confederations but the sporting  premise is surely the same.

You don’t win something unless you actually win. 👍

Unless we're back playing for June at the latest there's no chance it won't be null and void imo.

That’s fucking nuts. What is the point? What do they mean small groups, two players at a time 😂

Bayern Munich players will return to training on Monday for the first time since the Bundesliga campaign was suspended. The German top flight has been on hold since 13 March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The German Football League recommended clubs should not train until Sunday 5 April and Bayern, the Bundesliga leaders, will welcome back players in small groups from Monday.

A club statement read: “The FC Bayern Munich first team will return to training in small groups from Monday, 6 April. This will be done in coordination with government policy and the relevant authorities. It goes without saying that all hygiene regulations will be strictly observed.

“Training will take place with no members of the public present. In order to further slow the spread of the coronavirus, FC Bayern asks fans to continue to follow the instructions of the authorities and therefore please do not come to the FC Bayern training ground.”

Crazy, just crazy.

You tell me? I was merely pointing out how the narrative has been written over the last few days. Personally, they would be mad to go against UEFA's wishes.

They have been writing the narrative since the leagues were suspended.

They are still at it, latest is a sports lawyer they have dug out that claims UEFA can't bar teams from Europe for ending seasons early.

They are utter scumbags with this and don't deserve shit. But watch the SPFL do everything possible to hand it to them.

I’ve no issues with it as it can be done safely with routines modified.

So UEFA are now saying that the Champions League and Europa League will be null and void if they can’t be played as you “can’t wait forever”.

Then surely all leagues are the same, you cannot treat them differently.

You cannot just declare winners when nothing was won.

Now before anyone says leagues and cups are different scenarios, I know that, but the premise of winning and not the “we would have won” fact has to be used.

If there's a gap its not in a row remember that cheerio 9IAR

I've seen this argument online well null and void still leaves them on 8 and they go for 9 in the next season.

Well sadly for scum fc however season 19/20 league cup was completed and u can't null and void a completed tournament.

UEFA are all over the place just now. Wouldn't hang my hat on anything they say.  This 'you must finish the league or you'll be banned from Europe' for example. That view will likely change. Wouldn't get our hopes up over anything they say or, equally, be despondent over anything.

That’s the kind of shit that comes from a PR company pushing the narrative after you have already jumped the gun and said what you want.

Contradiction is swept aside depending on who does the reporting.

Hollicom, celtic and the Daylate Rhebel are as one. 👍

Footballing achievements are won on the football pitch, Not gifted to you. Has always been that way and will always remain that way.

They are still the only team to openly beg to be gifted something they didn’t win.

They say people will be remembered for how they acted during this pandemic.

They should be vilified.

The media won't allow it. They have acted disgustingly, like no other team in sport during this. The record has an article today painting them as the good guys.

Astonishing but not unexpected from that Fenian rag mate 👍
