Not sure football clubs will be treated any differently than every other business that is impacted.

As MM said above there is a way to let the. Clubs survive until next seasons ST money kicks in.
Also the fans have to think of their clubs and knock back any refund they are due.

Thats fine if you stand to gain from it, if you stand to lose out then its a different matter.

If the season is not complete, it should not be counted IMO.

It genuinely is a case of sporting integrity.

Lets face it, the Champions League and Europa Leagues are not going to be completed this year, so its not fair for the clubs who entered this year to have had absolutely no chance to win the tournament.

It should revert back to who qualified at the end of last season.

No winners in the SPFL, no winners in Europe.

Killie can get pumped out again by some welsh fishermen.

Not quite true. The champions are the team at the end of the Season.

The SPFL define the season as after the last league game or another date decided by the board.

Would the decision have to go down to a vote of the member clubs? If so, is it now 3 clubs that have to object to stop a motion?

Yeah? Last league game from full schedule agreed at the start of the season?

Or until the scum are mathematically uncatchable. At that point, the sigh of relief in SPFL/SFA offices will be like a sonic boom.

If they play closed doors games until they can’t be caught then shut down the league we might as well just give up. football

So who wins the Scottish  Cup??

Its much easier to declare a knockout cup void than it is a league. Clubs won't base their budget etc on the Scottish Cup and it's not the difference between part time and full time for clubs.

Im not sure on that one yet but it would likely need to go to a vote of clubs.

Rangers, Hearts and whichever team isn’t in the european spot.

What’s the difference though when it comes to Sporting integrity, you can’t be handed a league title you haven’t won.

Fuck Hamilton and the likes. Don't recall much empathy from them back in 2012. They wanted us dead.....still do. Rancid waste of a football club. Any club that can only average a home gate of around 1000 doesn't deserve to be a top flight club anyway!

Think you’ve missed the point here.

They also stipulate the number of fixtures.

You can’t say “we’ll apply this rule but overlook that one”

If the season is incomplete, then it cannot possibly count, the only exception being, for example, where the final set of games are dead rubbers with champions, European qualification and relegation all already resolved.

That’s what I thought I said back to him, can you clarify this point Dude?

"Season means the period of the year commencing on the date of the first League Match in a Season and ending on the date of the last League Match in the same Season or otherwise as determined by the Board and which excludes the Close Season;"

That’s why the only way to go about it is simply the whole Season void.

They have two options.

Void the season, or find some compromise that enough clubs like to not veto it. This would be restructure position.

If it is voided, which I think is the fairest way of doing it, the clubs that qualified at the end of last season should get the euro places.

Bit shit as it gives them another shot at the champions league when it could have been us. But we all have to compromise.
