Remember when it was all about the definition of the word "season". That obviously wasnt going to plan.

Now it's about it going to a vote and no doubt a bullet to the head of clubs desperate for income that if they vote against it then monies will be withheld.

“It is abhorrent that certain clubs could be unfairly relegated if the current SPFL proposals were implemented. We must future proof the Scottish game.”

Always shite it to call them out. It’s not just about relegation, it’s about the title as well. That’s the driving force here.

It's not really that mental a rule. Clubs have to play in the country they are based in is a pretty logical rule otherwise we'd have quickly been left behind as the big clubs formed their own closed-shop super league.

The FA aren't keen on it and tbh, I don't see any set of circumstances in which they would be. We'd only be of interest if celtic came too so they could market the Old Firm.

Not so,the Welsh clubs being a prime example.

The Welsh clubs in the English leagues are only there because they were grandfathered in due to Wales not having a pro league at the time. Any club starting today in Wales are obliged to play in the Welsh leagues.

Not bollocks at all. The Welsh leagues didn't exist until 1992 and all welsh clubs were given the option to join. Six of them accepted and a handful opted to stay within the English pyramid.

The correct attitude from Rangers. If money is the issue (obviously will be), then let's sort that out now and then get on with reorganizing the league structure/ settle the finalising of the league.

Reading between the lines, it appears that plans are being forced upon clubs regarding reconstruction without time for the correct due diligence. Amateur hour again in Scottish football. They can't see the wood for the trees and will be making yet another mistake that will set our football back further again.

The day of the shutdown sees Lennon talking about average points, and how Sellick should be champions because of that despite average points not being the way we work out leagues. Fast forward a number of weeks and this appears... A cynical person would think this has been discussed before the shutdown and agreed.

Exactly, as if he's came up with that himself.
