They've got a tough choice like most of the other 41 clubs. Do they fall in line and get on with finding a way through this with very little potential costs? Or do they go alongside us knowing that this could potentially end up costing them in the courts?

Don't get ahead ourselves here we are very much fighting a losing battle with the other clubs.

Did Thistle not come out earlier today and say they were voting for Rangers Resolution?

I don't see why not.

Anyone who thinks Doncaster has no idea how much that Deloitte investigation cost and exactly who paid for it really needs to open their eyes here because if it was anyone other than the SPFL then that is another thing that would need looking into.

If, in his current role, as he personally stated that he doesn’t know who ordered it, who set the perimeters, how much it cost and who paid for it then that’s incompetence enough to question his tenure...

Aberdeen confirm they are voting in favour of our resolution

Aberdeen Football Club will vote for the resolution at tomorrow’s SPFL EGM. Chairman, Dave Cormack, sets out the Club’s position.

“We reiterate our belief that an independent inquiry is the only way of drawing a line under what has become a highly damaging episode for the whole of Scottish football.

“There is a distressing lack of confidence and trust between the SPFL leadership and many of the clubs, and it is hard to see a resolution, far less a reconciliation, without some form of impartial and objective assessment of the many claims and counter-claims.

“Some of those involved will be prepared to make information known in confidence through an independent inquiry, which they would not otherwise be willing to disclose. The SPFL will be able to provide details of the contractual consequences for the SPFL of different possible outcomes, which they have felt unable to share with members, and therefore the opportunity to obtain confirmation that their proposal was the only practicable option available.

“Importantly, there will be the opportunity for the SPFL’s Chief Executive and Legal Advisor to be cleared of the serious allegations that have been made.

“It is difficult to see how these outcomes could be achieved in a different way.”

To any fair minded individual it is simple common sense, they may even drag a few more into their way of thinking.

Glad to hear this. Knew Cormack has been in contact with our board since day dot but didn't know if he would agree to the investigation.

The way Douglas Park mentioned him by name the other day would have suggested which way he was going to go as well.

Thistle worry me though . The line " we are not picking sides "

They have changed their tune quite a few times

They’ve said they’re voting yes mate. Surely after that statement they wouldn’t change.  Be fucking mental if Dundee voted yes again.

If we are prepared to finance a wholly independent examination that may well be a   very strong indication that we will take the SPFl to   a Court  of Law.It is not over yet by a long way.

May even get to the stage where the SPFL want the enquiry so it keeps them out of court ,

maybe keep a lid on the real can of worms
