The whole Highland League, Lowland league thing is open to this type of ridiculous interpretation due to ancient 'supposed' geographical boundaries. If it were the North of Scotland League and the South of Scotland League it would be much easier to manage. Trouble is, the SFA/SPFL would never agree where to draw the line. It's much easier when you can fudge the boundaries to suit your own agenda. The controlling bodies are experts at it.....fudge, fudge fudge into the abyss of backwater influence.
