This is a national societal issue mate and involves a lot more than football.  There's political, juducial, religious dark arts in play here and there's huge hurdles to overcome before we can say our position has significantly strengthened or the other mob's has worsened / they are held to account.

A long way to go before I get the cigars out.

Once this news comes out side of Scotland, the reputational damage is huge. Imagine a player from abroad gets an offer from septic, google them and that comes up, he may change his mind about signing. Paradoxically if the struggle to get playes because of their reputation, they may have to rely on their youth set up, oh fucking irony.

The court action taken against the SPFL by Hearts and Partick Thistle will be heard at the Court of Session in Edinburgh next Tuesday.

The initial hearing will take place via video conference from 10:00 BST.

The SPFL - along with Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers - had until today to respond to the petition.

Hearts and Thistle are challenging their respective demotions from the Premiership and Championship after the season ended early because of Covid-19.

United, Raith and Cove were declared winners of the Championship, League One and League Two and the petition asked for a judge to scrap promotions and relegations for last season.

The action came after SPFL clubs failed to support the league's proposal for reconstruction, which would have kept Hearts, Thistle and League One bottom side Stranraer up.

Happy it’s in Edinburgh

The bheasts would have it rigged here

I know mate, but we can watch as their reputation is pulled apart and enjoy their pain. This shit show is going to go on a long time and their name is going to be front and centre in it all.

Agree but not 100% sure Edinburgh is far enough away to be honest. The evidence against SPFL is overwhelming they’ll be basing their success on how much influence that corrupt bastards can contribute.

I'd be amazed Jim if null and void came back on the table. It is what should have happened on an incomplete season imo.

It was clear but from day one that any option that didn't crown scum fc champions was a no go. Even if courts rule in hearts/thistle favour.

I think the SPFL would force a reconstruction rather than take the tainted title away.

Cant force reconstruction, it needs a vote and with all the bitterness it will never pass, null and void means no one loses out financially because they all start as they did last season

United etc might moan they didnt go up, but being in the same boat as last season they arent losing out per say

The story is by and large suppressed in Scotland due to the efforts of a largely compliant media. Only when this actually goes to trial, or better, they are found guilty will the real interest come from those outwith this shithole. And as I say, that's a long way off yet even to get to the trial stage.

Barely a ripple of interest anywhere despite an extremely significant development today. I expect more of the same for some time yet.

United would possibly lose out ,But who gives a fuck ,they should never have been promoted ,they didn’t win the league

Don’t think players really give a shit ,If they are getting a contract that they won’t get elsewhere they will just bury their head in the sand and take the money ,It’s never going to get the exposure that’s merited

So the random computer fixture list that the spfl puts out is suggesting Oct 17 (week 11) for the first OF game?

Ok.

They thinking we’ll have fans back by then going by that? About 6 weeks later than the usual first old firm game

Hopefully no European fixture that week ,the only time we have struggled under Gerrard against the peados

Will be better with fans ,just like last time when 59k of the cunts watched their team get pumped

Was mental when they got their penalty that day, I thought that was us, fucked it again but we’ve shown we can go toe to toe with the cunts. Shame about our performances after Xmas against the rest of the shite.

Definitely can take that lot now. Just frustrating still dropping points to average sides who pack the box.

Management need to crack that or we are not winning the league.

That’s it, where someone like dykes could work for us with another striker. If we’re dominating a game then have two strikers and just fire the ball in. If we don’t change then we’ll continue to win fuck all

Pure coincidence of course.  I’d like to see this computer.  I suspect it looks a lot like Uncle Peter with his hand up the arse of someone who looks very similar to Doncaster.

There’s a lot of truth in that.  Doing the same thing and expecting different results is naive.  We definitely need to take a different approach in those types of games.

The SPFL getting taken to court, the spuds going to court for enabling paedos and the cover up. Rangers need to sit back, crack open a beer and watch the fire burn. Scottish football is going to be in shit order after this and Rangers may come out of this in a relatively good state when compared to the rest. The spuds may well come out of this as thee club to be shunned in Scotland and Europe.
