Which makes a mockery of any deliberate British policy of a holocaust as the more extreme Irish republicans claim. Mainland Britain has had more famines than Ireland. The early 17thC Scottish famine is the very reason for the Plantation happening by 1607.

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,593
If all teams were to meet next month (as other leagues are working towards) in a sanitised and secure venue, testing conducted and players remain collectively segregated, and play the games in a competition format until league concluded, is this any more expensive than what it will cost to repay the alleged claims from sponsors and broadcasters? Jb85 1,783
Martin Keown has slammed the SPFL as a 'farce' and accused them of forcing clubs into ending the season by placing unfair financial worries on them. The Arsenal legend - who has kept a close eye on Scottish football in recent years with son Niall playing for Partick Thistle and St Johnstone - reckons the governing body made a decision far too quickly. It comes as Scottish Premiership clubs are set to hold an emergency summit with league chief Neil Doncaster later on Friday to end the campaign and declare celtic as champions. That will also see Hearts relegated to the Championship and the haste associated with events doesn't sit right with the outspoken pundit. He also believes that the English Premier League will be watching closely and looking at the fallout expected to come with Hearts threatening legal action. It's a similar story in England with Aston Villa, Norwich and Bournemouth currently in the bottom three, with Villa having a game in hand. And Keown told talkSPORT: "This has been a bit of a farce in Scotland. "They tried to make that decision too quickly, almost holding a gun to the club’s heads with the financial rewards if they were to make a quick decision. "Finances will have a big say on what happens up in Scotland and obviously that’s going to come down south as well. "We’re all anxious to see what the Scottish game does, does it take a lead, does it continue? "We’ll have to wait and see, that’s a massive decision they’ll have to make." Outsiders are noticing. Where have you been? There has only been one agenda at play the entire time - to award celtic a title. You know that. They would rather pay back 10m than not declare a champion. The rest is semantics, played out in the media to brainwash the followers. All of their reasons are lies including n&v. n&v is feasible and the route the vast majority of leagues will eventually take should football not be possible. Trying to compare the Scottish league to England's course of action which is the most lucrative league on the planet is an argument that has no basis due to the extent of money. There is no integrity in awarding a title winner or relegation when 25% of games haven't been played. None whatsoever!
