Yesterday the Club launched the evolution of the historic Ready Crest & now we are handing the baton over to all our loyal fans to get ready to REACT. We want you to show us how you get #RangerReady.

Today is the launch of the fan engagement comp – we want our loyal & creative fans to celebrate what is a monumental moment in the club’s history in celebrating the new digital transformation and evolved crest.

Due to the climate we launched the evolution digitally so we realise you cannot have the hands-on experience with the evolution as we would have all liked to. However ready to react will allow us to come together until such a time when we can.

As the club moves forward with its digital transformation and brand evolution, we want to see your reactions and how you will help us drive this evolution forward.

Because we can’t physically interact with the new crest at the moment we have launched our evolution from a digital-first perspective, let us see how you show off the new brand at home & what Rangers ready means to you and your family, from fans near & a far.

For years the ready crest has been distilled in the clubs DNA and for the 20/21 season the word Ready will be featuring in various campaigns this is just the start of it.

There is no guidance from the club on what you need to do to enter this competition we just ask that however creative you are with this you do it safely. We can’t wait to see some of the entries these can be in the format of video or imagery.

Get creative fans as we will announce the ULTIMATE FAN EXPERIENCE PRIZE soon. The best selected entry will win a “Ready at home” prize for the new season and when we return to games in stadia there will be another top of this prize. Please note there will be only one winner, and this will be selected by various stakeholders at the club. The entry selected winner will be judged on by who ultimately defines what #RangersReady is.

COME ON ALL OUR FANS LETS GET READY!

Those two emails they sent are the most tortuous internal memo branding agency wank.  It's like an internal pitch / press release about the branding agency sent out to fans???

WHICH IS A BAD SIGN OF SOMEBODY IN CHARGE PERHAPS NOT HAVING A FUCKING CLUE

"digital transformation strategy"

"enhanced suite of unified digital products"

"typography"

"international fan engagement ambitions"

"digital touchpoints at its core"

"360-degree digital integration"

"aspirational mindset"

Fuck, what copy-and-paste-can-apply-to-anything-we-changed-the-website-brand-wank.

Seems to share some DNA with the Castore marketing drivel, but that's just my own take.

Why are the Club so reluctant to remove the 5 stars? The starred crest served its purpose when we reached 50. We hardly need to validate our history with embroidered stars. No big club does.

Going forward, a repeat of this in size be very much welcomed. The new top with that big crest would be perfect.

That was the best kit of the last 30 years. Absolute belter.

Left feels more solid and consistent. I think what bugs me about the new one is the font difference in sizing. But as someone noted above: change happens - it's good to adapt to the times. I just think it feels slightly amateur... almost there, but not quite.

On that note: New website is atrocious. The menu bar at top

In saying that the Juventus website (as an example) is equally shite.

They design them for mobile experience these days, not for desktop. That's how it feels anyway.

Do people still use desktops for anything other than work and champ manager? Can’t imagine logging in to surf the web anymore.

Could not agree more. Just remove the tennants 9 in a row and the 1996 season are my favs. But I never understood why Nike-Diadora-Umbro went with such small Crests.

9 in a row look at the difference and the 2013 one. Big RFC Crest on the front looks the best and would love to see it used more.

(Just my opinion tho)

Pornhub viewed on a desktop is much more practical 🤣

We aren't half giving out some ammunition btw.

Exactly, I’d much rather we shit the fuck up, work hard behind the scenes and shock other teams instead of screaming and shouting that were coming.

Pretty much sums my thoughts up perfectly.

If it doesn't go well this season you know this'll be parodied by the vermin.

When it does go well though; we'll surely have it all over town?

MORELOS: CHAMPION

DEFOE: CHAMPION

GERRARD: CHAMPION

Rangers: CHAMPIONS

Imagine.

Can’t wait for us to announce that we are sacking  off  The Best as the teams come out of the tunnel  and replacing it with Adiago For Strings

The club should be putting all money and effort into the playing team. When we have players who have won something then go fucking daft rebranding and marketing.

Instead we are just hyping up and plastering the faces of a bunch of donkeys who have won hehaw for us!

How much did they pay for some cunts to update the crest? How much for a new website? How much to beam the crest/faces all over the place? How much to put up advertisements around the stadium?

Any money we bring in should be for operational  + maintenance expenses and building a winning team. Nothing else matters until we win.
