Regrettable he didn't turn out the manager as he was a player, because I fucking loved watching him banging in the goals in the 80s, then the 90s...Liked him and Fleck together, but Ally and Hately was something else! I actually believe in 92/93 season they were the most dangerous partnership in British Football, by a fair bit... Even though it was the Scottish league, we were doing it in Europe aswell... BUT then I think of the moments of sheer joy that man gave me and all of us for 15 years. I think of how much playing for Rangers meant to him, reducing him literally to tears.
