Just when you think you can’t hate them anymore.....

This is when hate turns to pity, (well maybe with a bit of hate) despite all of their recent success obsessing over Rangers is their life. Sorry existence...

As of yet there’s still very little information on the timeline involved regarding when and how celtic became aware of the clown being in Spain.  Any other club we would be aware of when he left, areas he visited in Spain, why he was there, when he returned, was he aware of the isolation period, when did the club become aware, why was the club unaware of a player leaving the country etc etc.  Scottish football is fucked!

Sixteen pages of argument over a word  eligibility. As The Dude stated he was eligible to play as he is a registered player, he just should not have been available for selection as he was in breach of Covid isolation rules and both he and the club should be fined for the breach.

Nut jobs.

Even if we were to be “punished”, do they not realise it was a pre season friendly?! Give Utd the “win” then.  Why on earth would we lose league points?!
They are beyond pathetic.

Lawwell won't punish himself ie the club. He is directly involved with the JRG ofcourse.

Which is probably a conflict of interest straight away.  As would any involvement by the Sheep as it could involve punishment of 8 of their players.  Just another example of both the SFA and SPFL being unfit for purpose.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if they  tried to rope us into this In any way they could. Despite the fact that this has already been investigated along with Hibs’ breach and no punishment deemed necessary, the temptation to involve Rangers as part of the “example” may be hard for them to resist

Fortunately the team was

Firth

patterson

Middleton

Mayo

Bassey

McCrorie

Docherty

Kennedy

Stewart

McPake

Jones

so only damage would be Patterson, Bassey, Stewart and Firth missing from the bench

I fully expect the SPFL to say there will be no points deduction for these 2 teams BUT there will be for any future offences.

Then wait and see who they charge.......

There were /are no rules in place.  If it had been us we'd rightly be fucking livid if our player was banned or there was talk of forfeiting games / points for a non existent rule. The fact there was no rule is down to the utter incompetence of the spfl / sfa.

If and when a rule is established, any player fucking it up deserves whatever comes their way. That includes us, and everyone involved in the club needs to know the majority of the country is desperate for it to be us and will do anything possible to find a breach.

Edit. Though to be fair I suppose a resolution could be passed to retrospectively sanction the scum and sheep for their actions 😁. Anything is possible in scottish fitba.

Not really related to us however....

Payback from a vindictive shower of bastards.
Made them look bigger fannies than they really are.
And all for one scabby bunch of gypsies, tramps and thieves who have absolutely no morals or scruples, and actually stole a title in a boardroom,a title they certainly never one of the park.
Surely mrs budge didn't think the 2K fine was the end of the matter, was she really that naive.

BUT!!!!!....welcome to the cesspit when the shit stops at your door.

That 2k fine is one they should tell the SPFL to run for.  That in itself sums up the SPFL.  After pulling off what can only be described as a scam, for which they were rightly legally challenged you would think they would lie low.  But, no, they have the audacity to fine a club for challenging their questionable behaviour.

Their fans have already coughed up the money for that fine. I agree it is an absolute farce.

It wasnt the SPFL who fined them.

The SPFL has begun disciplinary action against Aberdeen and celtic for alleged breaches of Covid-19 protocol.

celtic defender Boli Bolingoli and eight Aberdeen players who broke lockdown rules have also been charged but by the Scottish FA - for bringing football into disrepute and failing to comply with the laws of the game.

Bolingoli played on Sunday despite not quarantining after a trip to Spain.

The players' potential punishments range from a two to eight-game ban.

A hearing date has been set for 28 August.

Aberdeen have "severely reprimanded and fined heavily" their eight players - Bruce Anderson, Craig Bryson, Sam Cosgrove, Michael Devlin, Jonny Hayes, Matty Kennedy, Dylan McGeouch and Scott McKenna - following an internal investigation.

Two of them tested positive for Covid-19, and the six others also had to self-isolate, after a visit to an Aberdeen city centre bar linked to an outbreak of the virus.

Aberdeen have had three Scottish Premiership matches postponed as a result of the breach of guidelines, with celtic's two league fixtures this week also called off on the Scottish government's insistence.

First minister Nicola Sturgeon has warned Scottish football is on its final warning, just two weeks in to the new Premiership season.

The SPFL and Scottish FA's joint response group is expected to announce a range of sanctions on Friday for players who do not comply with Covid-19 rules.

Aberdeen will get hammered, celtic will be fined a quid and we'll get a 11 point deduction for any breach they can pin on us...
