Del Juve 1
The Milan President hailed his team as the number one in the world following Friday night's win in the European Super Cup at Montecarlo against Sevilla. Silvio Berlusconi was full of praise for his club and team following the umpteenth win in the European competitions by the Rossoneri which landed the 17th international trophy for Milan, even though the atmosphere was quite surreal at the Stade Louis II. "The atmosphere of the team and in the dressing room was different, there wasn't that agonistic push which is normal for a final and this was evident in the first half," commented Berlusconi to the microphones of Rai at the end of the game. "A colleague who dies is felt by everyone, especially the players," he continued. "It's fair to dedicate the win to him. "We're satisfied with the win: we're the first team in the world for number of international trophies won, ahead of Boca Juniors and I'm the most successful President in the Milan history. And I'm happy about this."
