Think dados got it spot on, although dont think Hutton will play, Alexander and Naysmith may come in - usual case wit Scotland, not players been playing first team, bit tried and tested. Could see McFadden being benched for OcConner

Think Naysmith still has that knee injury so think McEveley might get in. Also at home to one of the weaker teams, should play attacking football, none of this sit back and hope to get something from a set piece, counter attack pish as Scotland seem to do sometimes. I'd go with:

---------------------Gordon-----------------------

Hutton----Anderson-----McManus-----McEveley

------Fletcher------Brown------Robson---------- Robson is solid, good going forward, good shot on him and is bang on form start of this season.

-------------------------McFadden-----------------

-----------O'Connor-------Boyd------------------

Remember lads, fergie is suspended for the game against lithuania

4-4-2

I'd like to see,

Gordon

Hutton McManus Caldwell McEvely

Brown Fletcher McFadden McCulloch

Boyd O'Connor

With McFadden supporting the strikers.

I'd be swaying between Anderson and Caldwell, but McManus and Caldwell play together, so i'd take advantage of that.

Robson's a really good call,he and Charlie Adam shared highest scoring mid-fielder last season(14)with three already this year, and he's an ex Ranger to boot. (tu)

Anderson, Naysmith and Miller confirmed out for the games.

Defender Russell Anderson has joined the list of withdrawals for Scotland's Euro 2008 qualifying double-header with Lithuania and France.

The Sunderland player misses out with a leg injury, along with striker Kenny Miller and full-back Gary Naysmith.

That means the only defensive backup is Alexander and Weir, both old and as slow as a week in jail. Also means basically Caldwell and McManus will start in centre of defence. Eck said he wouldn't call anybody else up, but surely he has too now.
