I query how you can refer to a long term celtic player as affectionately as "wee Shaun", when he wears the blue of scotland who really cares about who he played for? I query how you can refer to a long term celtic player as affectionately as "wee Shaun", It was in the heat of the moment tbh, I think 'long term' could be described if one was talking about Jackie Mcnamara or Tom Boyd or Packie Bonner but not Shaun Maloney who although he was in Celtic squads for several years, I don't think he really got a regular game until Strachan came along I recall.
