Boab 73 Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 I think I do, listening to David Platt this afternoon he was saying how he believes how England talk up themselves of winning it (different tournaments) but when they reach the Quarter Finals - they meet teams that are better than them. I don't think there are a lot of teams like France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Holland, Brazil, Argentina etc who are better than them. They have great players but insist on playing the high profile players with the 'Playboy image', such as Lampard, when there are guys like Matthew Etherington, David Bentley and Kevin Nolan who could arguably do just as effective a job, if not a better job.
