BlueSuedeSambas 53,775
Decided to watch "a year in the life of Michael Owen" and tape the Godfather programme on BBC 2. It just highlighted what i already thought and that is that Owen is one of the few players in the game that I have the uttermost respect for. Aside from being a great player and goalscorer, he always handles himself well when interviewed by the press and media, and he is one of the most dignified professional players about. He's everything that a professional footballer should be IMO.
Muff 245
I never watched the Owen programme but have always been impressed with the way he has handled himself in and out of the spotlight. He's a true professional.

Stardog 11
I remember seeing a programme on tv about him ages ago and he doesn't drink or go out partying or anything. Good pro.

mitchy 0
Was he gutted when he left Liverpool and then seen them lift the Champions league without him? IMO he was daft to leave Liverpool. Good player though, been unlucky with injuries of late, but looks like hes gonna get over them. Programme sounds interesting but i missed it :'(
