Del Juve 1
Juventus defender Jorge Andrade could be out for around six months after a suspected snapped knee ligament. The Portuguese player went off during this afternoon’s 2-2 draw at Roma in the Stadio Olimpico and the initial diagnosis is not encouraging. “I fear Andrade has broken the knee ligament in his left leg,†explained Coach Claudio Ranieri. “It is an injury he has already had in the past. His studs got caught in the turf and his leg snapped back. He is heartbroken.†Former Porto man Andrade had only signed for the Bianconeri in the summer, but if he is to be sidelined for a number of months, it leaves Juve with precious few defensive options. Jonathan Zebina is sitting out a four-match ban for slapping a cameraman in Cagliari, while Domenico Criscito again showed his lack of experience today when he contributed to both Roma’s goals. Juventus have had bad luck with injuries of late, as Mauro Camoranesi was also ruled out for six weeks with a serious thigh stra Yet another inj hopefully he isint out for long
papaguy51 912
He has a history of this, was out for 9 months with it last season. Watched that game yesterday, great game, but you could tell what happened as soon as he went down.
Muff 245
Andrade is a quality player but injuries have f*cked him over the past few seasons, he'll never be the player he was a few seasons ago which is a real shame. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.
Del Juve 1
Broken kneecap for Andrade Jorge Andrade, after spending the night at the Fornaca clinic, underwent Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and X-ray tests to diagnose the left knee injury suffered in Rome. These tests, carried out by Professor Carlo Faletti, showed that the patella bone is shattered. Therefore surgery will be needed to repair the bone and to review the condition of the kneecap tendon, which was operated on two years ago. The abovementioned situation appears less serious than previously thought, but the player will still be unavailable for a long period of time. Damn, this is not what we needed
