Barton will be like the captain on the pitch which I think we've missed especially in games where we've been struggling. Wallace is a great guy but doesn't possess the leadership and organisation qualities that Barton does. So we should be better organised from the back to middle at least which should help a bit. I still worry about getting caught out when teams counter.

Wallace will be on the pitch a lot longer than Barton will.

How many red cards will Joey get this season?

Don't know. Wouldn't say more than 1 tbh.

Wallace could be on the pitch every minute of every game but he still doesn't have the leadership or organisation skills of Barton so I don't really get your point.

So was I until the last 2 games. Looks like Mark has got it sorted.

The defence will never be sorted with Kiernan and Wilson spearheading it.

If he had signed for the rodents ,very little .

On the other hand ,with us ,count on them being near 4/5

Hows their team looking for the season?

I hear very little about Celtic

Pretty much the same as last season bar Dembelle.

Think they will wait to get through to Euro football before bringing more in.

Seen an interview released today with Daniel Agger speaking about his career, Rodgers doesn't come across well at all to put it mildly.

Get it posted! ??

They've had another bid of £2.75m rejected for Scott Sinclair. Apparently they're nowhere near their valuation.

Villa wanted £6m did they not? And could probably get that from a Championship team at least. Lot of pish from the taigs to please the masses.

Surely their £15mil warchest can cover Sinclair?

That barely covers Brenda's salary.

Honestly, if they don't sign anyone of note before the end of the window, I'd expect the tarriers to ask serious questions if Brenda's wages have drained up the funds? But then again, the Tarriers are not the smartest bunch, so I wouldn't expect it actually.

We've massively strengthened with quality and experience. We're fast overlapping them.

Liewell was likely hoping signing just brenda would've shut the tims up.

It'll take Brenda a long time to sort through that squad, see whose decent and worth keeping on. Getting rid of them then filling in the spots. And that'll take quite a few weeks of tinkering.

Weeks where we have an established squad will beat teams and gain points!

If by some strange freaky miracle and The Mighty Imps should pull off a 1 all draw. Do you think they would sack Brenda in the morning ?

I think the team would be in the firing line more so than Brenda.

They wouldn't be able to afford to. And fat chance Brenda would do the honourable thing and resign; he's a snake and looks out for himself.
