Guest Posted June 17, 2008 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I was thinking about the large bosman list that MuffGer posted not too long ago and a vast amount of quality on it which could most certainly up the standard of our side, but alot of these signing were frowned apon by members because of their high wage demands. If that is the case why dont the club think as u how much they think the player is worth fee wise, set aside fund from the transfer budget and then accumulate that into a big wage packet for the player. I feel this would be a good idea because if would garauntee quality at the club rather than signing mediocracy (not saying what we signed is but the general concenous of the board is they are) what you all think ? Can you imagine that there are probably some Italian messageboards talking about Scottish Football (I know, why would they but humour me) and saying it was either Rangers or Celtic that Gattuso signed from, cant remember which one?
